Where to Ride a Dirt Bike in Ontario:
Ontario has some of the most amazing off-road trails for dirt biking in Canada, allowing you to experience an outstanding off-road adventure, each and every time. Some of the trail systems travel through muddy wetlands, shaded forests, and even past shimmering lakes and waterfalls. If you’d like to stay here, close to Toronto, you can take the dirt bike for a wild ride with your friends and family, then check out Ganaraska forest! If you are set to check out other trailers, consider the following locations:
- Ganaraska Forest - Covers an area of 361sq miles from Wilmot Creek in Clarington to east of Cobourg from the south shore of Rice Lake down to Lake Ontario. Ganaraska forest is located about 60 minutes drive from Toronto and has 300 kilometres of trails for dirt biking. Rent our dirt bike, grab our trail pass and head for the ultimate experience. The Ganaraska forest is located at 10585 Cold Springs Camp Road, Cambellcroft, Ontario, L0A 1B0. For parking use P2 or P3.
- Concession Lake Trail - This trail is considered to be one of the most popular destinations for off-road riders. The Concession Lake Trail has 9.2kms of motorcycling trail path, including rocks, soil (loose and compact), water and hills (some are very steep). Located near Crystal Lake in the region of Kawartha.
- St. Croix Trail - This trail is great for beginner riders looking to get into dirt biking. The trail is only 5.4kms and located near Crystal Lake in Central Ontario.
- Simcoe County Forest - According to the OFTR, the trails at Simcoe County were the first trails in Ontario where membership was a requirement by law. By collecting funds from members, this allowed Simcoe County to invest and develop outstanding dirt biking trails. When heading to the region of Simcoe County, consider riding at: Hendrie Staging Area (Nursery Road, 200m south of Horseshoe Valley Road), Williams Staging Area (Old Second South, north of the railway tracks), Drury Staging Area (Oro-Medonte Line 2 North, 100m south of Bass Lake Sideroad) and Strachan Staging Area (Bass Lake SR, close to the 7th and the 8th of Oro Medonte). Note, one thing to keep in mind when riding a dirt bike at any forest at Simcoe County, your bike MUST be 94 db or less! Click here to view the riding map of Simcoe County.
